Our college G.K. Arts and Science Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kawarabandh, is located in Salekasa Taluka in the Gondia District of Maharashtra (441916). It belongs to Nagpur Division. It is located 33 KM to the East of the District headquarters in Gondia. 8 KM from Salekasa and connected by bus and nearby railway station at Amgaon (10 km). G.K. Arts and Science MahilaMahavidyalaya, Kawarabandh is established in 2016. Today the college is advancing successfully towards the better education of tribal girls with good infrastructure and education facilities.
The college has Arts and Science faculties. Approximately 1070 students are taking education today in our college. The college is committed to the overall development of the students having the focus on its vision "GyanamParamamDhyeyam" (Knowledge is the supreme goal) and following the mission statement ‘SarvatraVidyayaVardhatePraja’(enriching people through education). The college organizes various programs as per the need of the students and society. The college has NSS, Sports Department, and Carrier Guidance cell. The students represent the college on State and National levels. The college is ready to face the First Cycle of NAAC accreditation. Our college, established in 2016 by Late Parasram Shikshan Sanstha, Kawarabandh, is affiliated with RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur. We provide Undergraduate Courses in two Faculties viz. Arts and Science, with B.A. covering 12 subjects, B.Sc. covering 06 subjects as well as distance learning courses through YCMOU (BA, B.Sc., and B.Com., MA).
