G.K. Arts and Science Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kawarabandh is run by the Late Parasram Shikshan Sanstha, in the Salekasa district, since 2016. The said college is located in the Saleksa Naxal-affected tribal hilly area of the Gondia district and is the only women's college in the taluka. The majority of the girls in this area belong to the agricultural labor class and could not get higher education after completing 12th standard. Our mission is to bring them into the stream of higher education; they should not be deprived of higher education, to improve their intellectual development, and to raise the standard of living of the people in the tribal areas.
